The hype is REAL. I'm a vacuum connoisseur with three dogs. This picture is what I emptied after one pass on my 8x10 area rug...AFTER I had done it with the roomba the day before and my trusty Shark just ten minutes earlier. Unreal! I'm sold, never going back. Did every area rug in my house and I'm so happy...but disgusted at the same time. Apparently my "clean" house wasn't so clean! Thanks Dyson!

This Dyson stick vacuum is so much better than earlier models. I loved the earlier models but this one is a tad wider so covers more territory easily. It glides between hard surface floor to rugs to fully carpeted areas with ease. The weight of the vacuum is not heavy at all either.The initial set up is so easy. It came with a charge to it already but I went ahead and fully charged the battery and it last a long time! Love no cords. I am recommended this Dyson vacuum to everyone I know!

I debated between the Cordless Dyson V8 and the Cordless V11. I'm very happy with the V11... it has more suction power (60%), a larger capacity to hold dirt (but not too large), easier to empty dirt than the V8, and you can see how much battery time you have left as you are using it.Additionally, I wanted something light especially for all of my stairs in my 3 story townhouse. So I debated between the V8 and V11. The V11 is only 1 lb heavier, so I went with it. Still light enough for my stairs and for my 2 cats. Plus the main end is smaller like the V8 so it easily fits under furniture and in tighter spaces. In my opinion, it is the perfect cordless Dyson... without having to spend a fortune (especially when buying it on sale).One word of caution... as one other reviewer also mentioned and I totally agree, USE YOUR OWN STRONGER ANCHORS to mount on wall. The anchors it comes with are weak. I had to replace theirs. You want it to fit snugly. This is important as you lift your V11 in and out.

She is the absolute best vaccine I’ve ever owned. It doesn’t come with this stand, you have to purchase the stand as well. It comes with a few other attachments. The weight is perfect. It being cordless makes it so easy to take it upstairs. And the battery life last a long time. It has various modes that I love too. And it’s the perfect size.
